Stu Crum, who has served as the president of Houston-based Jiffy Lube since 2011, has been named president of Bridgestone Retail Operations.
Stu Crum, who has served as the president of Houston-based Jiffy Lube since 2011, has been named president of Bridgestone Retail Operations for Nashville-based Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, effective Aug. 5.
Crum has worked for Shell Oil Co., which owns Jiffy Lube, in various roles for nearly 28 years. He also worked at Texaco Inc. in several different capacities, and played professional football for three years after attending the University of Tulsa on a full football scholarship.

"I am confident that Stu's experience in training and developing people, his drive for operational excellence and his keen understanding of consumers will ensure that we continue to provide the best service, the highest quality products and the right solutions to meet the needs of all of our customers," Gordon Knapp, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations's president, consumer U.S. and Canada, said in a recent statement.
Bridgestone Corp., the parent company of Bridgestone Americas, is a Japan-based tire and rubber company.
